LMU Munich

In the winter term 2012/2013 Dr. Christian Zwirner and Dr. Michael Hoheisel will be holding a series of lectures at the LMU Munich on the subject of determining taxable income: "Steuerliche Gewinnermittlung und Bewertung". The lectures are based on the cooperation between Kleeberg and Prof. Dr. Deborah Schanz, Head of the Institute of Corporate Taxation at the LMU Munich.

At this event, the speakers will impart the basics of determining taxable income to students. After giving an overview of the tax implications of periodic profit measurement methods on an accrual basis and the various methods of computing taxable income under tax law, the tax rules on the recording and valuation of balance sheet items will be treated in depth. A further focal point of the lectures is the tax treatment of partnerships and co-entrepreneurships as well as joint-stock companies.
