Erwin Herzing advises small, medium-sized and international companies mainly on issues of national and international value-added tax (VAT) law. He uses his many years of experience as lead auditor in audits, in conducting training courses and as a consultant to devise customised solutions for clients. Erwin Herzing focuses on each problem in order to support the client in the best way and as comprehensively as possible. His advice includes related tax law issues to the extent necessary. In particular, this advice covers assistance in tax audits, support in appeal proceedings and representing clients before German courts. Drafting expert opinions and holding VAT workshops are also part of his work.
The senior manager publishes articles in professional journals and holds lectures on a regular basis. He is a member of various supra-regional bodies, where he deals with cross-border VAT taxation and other aspects of international tax law.
In his free time, Mr. Herzing engages in a variety of sporting activities. His bicycle plays a major role both as a daily means of transport to work, but also for holiday tours.
